
My personal journey, your strength
Life Pilates was created with a mission to empower women, helping them feel confident and strong throughout their pregnancy and into the late postnatal period. Regular Pilates practice can effectively address postural challenges that arise during pregnancy, while enhancing pelvic floor and core stability, facilitating a faster recovery for your muscles.
As a mother of two, both born via C-section, I understand the journey of regaining confidence in my body after childbirth. It took time for me to embrace my scar and rediscover strength in my core. Through Pilates, I have found a renewed sense of flexibility and strength that empowers me as a mum.
Recognising the limited exercise options available for pregnant women and new mothers, I felt compelled to share my passion for Pilates and its incredible benefits with others.
My classes emphasise the core principles of Pilates—breathing, focus, core strength, postural awareness, and centering. This unique approach not only fortifies the body but also fosters mental clarity. We take pride in offering a truly unique experience in Market Deeping and Bourne.
I aim to foster a supportive community where women can connect and prioritise their physical and mental well-being during this transformative chapter of their lives.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a popular way to exercise that many people around the world enjoy. It’s practiced by everyone from dancers and professional athletes to fitness fans and people dealing with aches and pains, especially in their muscles and joints.
The current methods of Pilates come from the original ideas of Joseph Pilates, a German trainer and writer who called his approach "Contrology." He was often sick as a child, dealing with issues like rickets and asthma, which led him to focus on building strength throughout his life.
The main idea behind Pilates is that you need to train your mind to control your body. It’s more important to focus on how well you move rather than how much weight you lift or how many reps you do. This helps you get the most benefit from your movements by engaging the right muscles.
